Worker: On pay-for-deliverable
projects, all deliverables must be
uploaded to
vWorker.com before the
deadline(s)Â…with no exceptions. If
this contract makes it impossible
to do this (for example if it is
for a service that cannot be
uploaded), then do not start
this project. Otherwise, you
may find
yourself unprotected by the
payment guarantee.
Instead, ask the employer
to switch this project to
pay-for-time, so you are
guaranteed payment. If the
employer will not switch this, then
please alert us.

Example of unprotected/un-guaranteed work:
Imagine that this project is to
install something on the employers
website.
You do the work but upload nothing
to vWorker.com (because it takes too
long,
or you cannot). As long as there is
no dispute, you will not notice the
potential problem. But if the
employer disputes what you did then
we must make sure you delivered to the
triple-point-guarantee (100% to-contract: and
done in the industry exepcted manner, and
by the deadline). If the employer
does not allow us access to their
website, or accidentally/deliberately
changes the work you did on their
website, when we go to test it, we
will see that it does not work.
Then you would have no proof that
you delivered the final deliverables,
lose the arbitration, the escrowed
funds and receive a poor rating
(which will say “testing showed
the final deliverables did not
work”).
So for this reason,
you should have instead followed
the above instructions and
switched it to pay-for-time.
Had you done this, we would simply
have checked the Accutimcard to
make sure you punched-in the time
and were working on it. You would
have been paid for every hour
you worked.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all outsourcing pay-for-deliverables projects violation of both the employer and worker agreements.
vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Dutch Netherlands bookkeeping assistant2 By scannerbert on Nov 6 Max Bid: $ 3

LongDesc:
Looking for a Virtual assistant to do VAT administration and payroll activities to a small one person company according to the Dutch regulations. All based on an online accounting system. Workload: Few hours a week. Reading/writing in Dutch required.

Setup Sage for a small business and enter 400 bank ... By Atomy Limited on Nov 3 Max Bid: $ 3

LongDesc:

I have a small business that provides childcare in an after school club setting. I need someone to set up a sage line 50 file with the appropriate Chart of Accounts and enter approx 400 bank transactions for the last 18 months. Ideally the successful 'worker' will have existing clients with a similar set-up, hence allowing quick completion of the task. I envisage the following project stages:
Agree the CoA and bookkeeping granularity (supplied as a .pdf generated by Sage)
Complete the data entry of the 400 transactions (supplied as a sage backup - see version details below)
Add ME journals for the sales totals (1 journal per month) (supplied as a sage backup - see version details below)
Ideally I would like to hire someone to whom I can send the bank statements each month, who could (for a small fee) keep the accounts up to date and process the Month End.
Hence I'd like you to quote for the initial piece of work, and the ongoing bookkeeping work (based on 20-30 bank transactions per month).
I currently use Sage50 Accounts 2010 Version 16.0.17.0158 CB. You need to be able to create a sage backup file from that version of Sage. We shall be upgrading to Sage 50 Accounts 2011 at some point in the next 6-12 months, hence you should be in a position to support the latest version in the future. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to work with these potential version changes. You are expected to use your own copy of Sage.Legal:

Analysis and opinion of existing Ms Access invoici ... By CoastDoors on Oct 30 Max Bid: $510

LongDesc:

In depth analysis and opinion of existing Access invoicing app and estimated costs of what it would take to complete this app to the point where is would be able to be used by multiple users who might not have any specific knowledge of the industry.
Upon reconsideration of the size of the task I am increasing bid ceiling to $600. This represents a considerable increase above original bid limit. I know this still isn't a ton of money. But I seek an indepth and professional opinion. Your bid must include an outline of what I can expect in the final presentation.Legal:
1) All deliverables will be considered 'work made for hire' under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
1b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's 'Worker Legal Agreement'.
Detailed Requirements:Presently I use this app to invoice my services in my one man service company. It is nothing fancy and of course doesn't compare to some professional off the shelf products and it doesn't really do much except the basics. ie: invoicing , aging and parts. It has a couple of nice features and most important for me is the appearance. Off the shelf products look cheap. But then I've never used them so I can't really compare. In any case I would very much like your opinion on what might need to be done to make the step up by creating the capability for web based multiple user logins. But that is only a small portion of what I would like. What I really want is your opinion on what it would take to make the app a more professional product. Capable of actually producing a balance sheet and an income statement. Also if you could focus attention on the parts database in particular. At present the parts database needs each part categorized. This categorization would be impossible for a secretary for example. I need a way to enter parts that does not require this categorization or to necessarily know the category of a particular part when selecting that part for a particular invoice. But I would like some way of categorizing that part afterwards. The parts database is possibly the most difficult aspect to this problem. Perhaps you already know of an efficient and intuitive manner in which this task could be carried out. No inventory control is desired.
I will most likely be choosing more that one opinion so that I may have a broader understanding of possibilities.
Some explanation of how you would perform this task and what would be included in the presentation is required.

Thank you.

lose the arbitration, the escrowed
funds and receive a poor rating
(which will say “testing showed
the final deliverables did not
work”).
So for this reason,
you should have instead followed
the above instructions and
switched it to pay-for-time.
Had you done this, we would simply
have checked the Accutimcard to
make sure you punched-in the time
and were working on it. You would
have been paid for every hour
you worked.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all pay-for-deliverables business projects violation of both the employer and worker agreements.
vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

Excel macro/program By yuwire on Oct 20 Max Bid: $ 3

LongDesc:

Overall this task is to automate some things I do with excel manually. I currently use pivot tables and basic filtering to get what I want, but I would like to combine a few (3) of my spreadsheets and get the data entered in automatically.

I have 11 columns of data. Data is imported via an ODBC connection that is refreshed daily and constantly getting bigger. (currently 40k+ rows)

I would like to filter/manipulate/calculate the data contained within these columns and have the output dropped into specific boxes of my spreadsheets.

Because the spread of data comes from years of collecting, some of the labels are not consistent, (ie sometimes ABC10-1, Abc10/1 or abc10-1 mean the same thing). So there would have to be some basic logic to it.
Legal:
1) All deliverables will be considered 'work made for hire' under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
1b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's 'Worker Legal Agreement'.
Detailed Requirements:
Worker: On pay-for-deliverable
projects, all deliverables must be
uploaded to
vWorker.com before the
deadline(s)Â…with no exceptions. If
this contract makes it impossible
to do this (for example if it is
for a service that cannot be
uploaded), then do not start
this project. Otherwise, you
may find
yourself unprotected by the
payment guarantee.
Instead, ask the employer
to switch this project to
pay-for-time, so you are
guaranteed payment. If the
employer will not switch this, then
please alert us.

Example of unprotected/un-guaranteed work:
Imagine that this project is to
install something on the employers
website.
You do the work but upload nothing
to vWorker.com (because it takes too
long,
or you cannot). As long as there is
no dispute, you will not notice the
potential problem. But if the
employer disputes what you did then
we must make sure you delivered to the
triple-point-guarantee (100% to-contract: and
done in the industry exepcted manner, and
by the deadline). If the employer
does not allow us access to their
website, or accidentally/deliberately
changes the work you did on their
website, when we go to test it, we
will see that it does not work.
Then you would have no proof that
you delivered the final deliverables,
lose the arbitration, the escrowed
funds and receive a poor rating
(which will say “testing showed
the final deliverables did not
work”).
So for this reason,
you should have instead followed
the above instructions and
switched it to pay-for-time.
Had you done this, we would simply
have checked the Accutimcard to
