this contract makes it impossible

Example of unprotected/un-guaranteed work:
Imagine that this project is to
install something on the employers
website.
You do the work but upload nothing
to vWorker.com (because it takes too
long,
or you cannot). As long as there is
no dispute, you will not notice the
potential problem. But if the
employer disputes what you did then
we must make sure you delivered to the
triple-point-guarantee (100% to-contract: and
done in the industry exepcted manner, and

does not allow us access to their
website, or accidentally/deliberately
changes the work you did on their
website, when we go to test it, we
will see that it does not work.
Then you would have no proof that
you delivered the final deliverables,
lose the arbitration, the escrowed
funds and receive a poor rating
(which will say “testing showed
the final deliverables did not
work”).
So for this reason,
you should have instead followed
the above instructions and
switched it to pay-for-time.
Had you done this, we would simply
have checked the Accutimcard to
make sure you punched-in the time
and were working on it. You would
have been paid for every hour
you worked.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all outsourcing pay-for-deliverables projects violation of both the employer and worker agreements.
vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Project in Sharepoint Online 2010 By Magnus_79_Sweden on Nov 22 Max Bid: $255

LongDesc:

Hi,
I work for an accounting firm with 50 employees. We have a project in which we are using Sharepoint Online 2010 to collaborate with our customers. This project is only in its infancy and we initially just want some help setting up a couple of site collections and some minor graphical enhancements to the home site.
But hopefully we can find a partner who is interested in working beyond this initial project since Sharepoint offer great possibilities for a business like ours.
I prefer if we could communicate at least to some extent verbally (if you have Lync, that's a plus) in english.
Requirements Interview Answers:

To help you bid more accurately, the employer was interviewed about the requirements for this project. Below are their answers.

Untitled Page

//<![CDATA[
var theForm = document.forms['form1'];
if (!theForm) {
theForm = document.form1;
}
function __doPostBack(eventTarget, eventArgument) {
if (!theForm.onsubmit || (theForm.onsubmit() != false)) {
theForm.__EVENTTARGET.value = eventTarget;
theForm.__EVENTARGUMENT.value = eventArgument;
theForm.submit();
}
}
//]]>

Project Type:
What kind of work do you need done?Software related (Includes desktop applications and internet websites)
Project Parts:
What do you want the worker to do on this project?

Requirements:
The worker will analyze the problem and propose a software-based solution to the problem.
Programming:
The worker will take the requirements and translate them into the language of the computer (and test it).
User installation:
The installer will move the software from the place it was created (which is called the development or QC environment) to where you will use it (which is called the production environment). The installer then tests the software to make sure that the installation was done properly and completely.

Req. Doc. Type:
What kind of documentation do you want for this project?Formal documentation - After talking back and forth, the worker creates a formal document and/or prototype, as follows:Prototype: The analyst will create a non-working mockup of all pages/screens in the final software. Creating a prototype makes it easier for the user to visualize the final software, and reduces misunderstandings.
Program Type:
What kind of software should the worker create (and/or install)?An internet web-site: This software runs on a web server and users will access it using their internet browser.
Internet web-site info

Design and functionality:
What does the programming of this project involve?Design: Create the layout of the pages (or modify the layout of existing pages).
Modeling another site:
Do you wish to model another site? No
Size of website:
How many pages need to be created/edited in this website?I don't know. Other info:There will be (at least) two site collection but each site collection consists of 10 and 30 sites. However, these underlying sites are only document driven sites so not that much work (I hope).
Programming Language:
What programming language(s) do you want your website written in?I do know the language(s).Languages(s):Other: Sharepoint OnlineMisc. details: The sites are created in Sharepoint Online's "point and click" environment. If you want to code yourself you can do that, but it is not necessary.
Database:
Will this project include a database?I'm not sure (and need the worker to advise me).Other info:It does include a database but you will not be building that one.
Browser Type(s)/Version(s):
Which browser/version combinations must this website support?IE 8.0Firefox 3.6Firefox 3.0
Server Hosting Environment:
What is your server hosting environment?I have a server at a 3rd party hosting company.The name of the hosting company is: MicrosoftThe server's shared/dedicated status is: Shared with other people.Component Compatibility Protection:Sometimes a worker may create features on the website that rely on componentswhich work fine on their own server, but won't work with your 3rd party hosting company's server. There are many reasons for this including version incompatibility, restricted permissions, etc... vWorker.com normally requires that the worker verify in advance that your 3rd party hosting provider will support the components. If they do not, then they are responsible for any incompatibilities, rather than you. Do you want this protection on your project?Yes, I require the worker to query my hosting company in advance, to ensure that they support all components which the worker uses in the final solution (including supporting the anticipated version #s, allowing components to run under their potentially restricted security model, etc.)
Server Hosting Environment:
Will the worker develop "live" on your server?Yes. The worker may develop live on my production server.
Physical installation:
Who will perform the physical installation?The worker will perform the physical installation, and will be given all necessary permissions to do so.
Legal:
1) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future).

Setup Sage for a small business and enter 400 bank ... By Atomy Limited on Nov 3 Max Bid: $ 3

LongDesc:

I have a small business that provides childcare in an after school club setting. I need someone to set up a sage line 50 file with the appropriate Chart of Accounts and enter approx 400 bank transactions for the last 18 months. Ideally the successful 'worker' will have existing clients with a similar set-up, hence allowing quick completion of the task. I envisage the following project stages:
Agree the CoA and bookkeeping granularity (supplied as a .pdf generated by Sage)
Complete the data entry of the 400 transactions (supplied as a sage backup - see version details below)
Add ME journals for the sales totals (1 journal per month) (supplied as a sage backup - see version details below)
Ideally I would like to hire someone to whom I can send the bank statements each month, who could (for a small fee) keep the accounts up to date and process the Month End.
Hence I'd like you to quote for the initial piece of work, and the ongoing bookkeeping work (based on 20-30 bank transactions per month).
I currently use Sage50 Accounts 2010 Version 16.0.17.0158 CB. You need to be able to create a sage backup file from that version of Sage. We shall be upgrading to Sage 50 Accounts 2011 at some point in the next 6-12 months, hence you should be in a position to support the latest version in the future. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to work with these potential version changes. You are expected to use your own copy of Sage.Legal:

Analysis and opinion of existing Ms Access invoici ... By CoastDoors on Oct 30 Max Bid: $510

LongDesc:

In depth analysis and opinion of existing Access invoicing app and estimated costs of what it would take to complete this app to the point where is would be able to be used by multiple users who might not have any specific knowledge of the industry.
Upon reconsideration of the size of the task I am increasing bid ceiling to $600. This represents a considerable increase above original bid limit. I know this still isn't a ton of money. But I seek an indepth and professional opinion. Your bid must include an outline of what I can expect in the final presentation.Legal:
1) All deliverables will be considered 'work made for hire' under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
1b) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's 'Worker Legal Agreement'.
Detailed Requirements:Presently I use this app to invoice my services in my one man service company. It is nothing fancy and of course doesn't compare to some professional off the shelf products and it doesn't really do much except the basics. ie: invoicing , aging and parts. It has a couple of nice features and most important for me is the appearance. Off the shelf products look cheap. But then I've never used them so I can't really compare. In any case I would very much like your opinion on what might need to be done to make the step up by creating the capability for web based multiple user logins. But that is only a small portion of what I would like. What I really want is your opinion on what it would take to make the app a more professional product. Capable of actually producing a balance sheet and an income statement. Also if you could focus attention on the parts database in particular. At present the parts database needs each part categorized. This categorization would be impossible for a secretary for example. I need a way to enter parts that does not require this categorization or to necessarily know the category of a particular part when selecting that part for a particular invoice. But I would like some way of categorizing that part afterwards. The parts database is possibly the most difficult aspect to this problem. Perhaps you already know of an efficient and intuitive manner in which this task could be carried out. No inventory control is desired.
I will most likely be choosing more that one opinion so that I may have a broader understanding of possibilities.
Some explanation of how you would perform this task and what would be included in the presentation is required.

Thank you.
