The scope of this project is to establish a Facebook API that would utilize the Open Graph API to pull demographic information.
The demographic information would include open graph data that shows interest in the following :
+ Travel
+ Fashion
+ Household Goods
+ Movies
+ Cars
The deliverable would be an Azure worker role that connects to the Facebook API and pulls datasets into the worker role.
The intention of this project is to create a proof of concept, so the amount of data is just for a test set. A 1 MB packet of demographic information would be sufficient.

Developer needed for a lightweight and high performing web service API with embedded client-side script prototype. If the prototype proves successful, development of the official application will be offered as a second phase of this project. This project is to move my current hosted servers to Amazon Web Services. I have a MS SQL Server and a .NET application server that I am tired of paying for when I'm not constantly using them. I think you may be able to download them as virtual machines.
You will need to set up and configure both (along with the appropriate DNS settings) in a fashion that I can turn them on and off when I need them so I only pay for storage when they are not in use.

I have an Android application that has some bugs that need fixing. I need an experienced Android developer who can fix these bugs, clean up the code and make it run more efficiently.
Areas that need cleaning up are:
1. The download of data to happen once during the valid period. Check for new data should only happen after the date of the current download has passed.
2. Once the date of the current download has passed, the data should not be presented to the user. It currently does that.
3. The app uses a library project which works with an average 80 to 90 images. The app is very slow to load taking between 1 and 2 seconds to load. The library project is at https://github.com/pakerfeldt/android-viewflow. This needs to be made faster to load.
4. Positioning of cursor within a list view.
5. Reformat 1 view which is not properly formatted.
6. Clean up code, especially code that runs when the app is launched.
Please note I will not be able to answer all questions posted, so you are better off sending me a bid and I'll have a look at your Android experience on VWorker and make a decision based on that.
Experience working with Amazon Web Services is a plus, but not mandatory.

What i need is a a working web-service, with a documented assessment of its security built using Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS)
