Python/C based Modbus Digital I/O Interface By vk2tds on Sep 5 Max Bid: Open to fair suggestions

I need a client server program to interface to existing PYTHON client software and also to MODBUS hardware from TRYCOM. The server program may be written in C or Python, but the code should have a minimal CPU loading and ideally be multithreaded. A client program will be needed in PYTHON to interface to the server program. Ideally the client will operate within the TWISTED architecture.
The aim of the program is to deal with most of the low level issues separately, reducing the communication requirements to the client software.
